Tree work requires a high degree of technical competence. High Country Tree Services offers a range of tree works including assessments, tree reports, tree surgery, pruning, powerline clearance, tree removal, stump removal, mistletoe and vegetation removal. All tree works are carried out to Australian Standard AS4373: Pruning of Amenity Trees (2007).

Operating since 1996, the company has $20million in Public Liability Insurance and more qualified arborists and a greater range of equipment than any other tree services operator in North East Victoria.

High Country Tree Services is owned and managed by Alistair and Briana Seaton. Together with their professional team of qualified, insured and experienced tree climbing arborists, Al and Bri are committed to maintaining and building on the high standards set by company founder Howard Singleton and providing the leading tree service in North East Victoria.

Alistair Seaton, Managing Director

Originally from Tolmie, Al was previously employed as operations manager of High Country Tree Services.  He is one of the region’s top tree climbing arborists with Certificate IV in Horticulture (Arboriculture).

As Managing Director of High Country Tree Services, Al is responsible for strategic development, customer relations, staff management, HR, OH&S and environmental management.

Briana Seaton, Finance & Administration Manager

Bri grew up in bayside Melbourne before moving to Mansfield in 2002. She has an Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Equine) and won the ‘Commonweath Bank Young Achiever Victorian Business Person of the Year’ in 2002 and was Runner Up in Australia.

Bri previously managed accounts and administration for Carpets R Us for 4 years and Mansfield Veterinary Clinic for 7 years, before joining High Country Tree Services as office manager in 2009.

Bri is responsible for managing finance and administration for High Country Tree Services on a full-time basis, while also working on marketing and branding the business.

Howard Singleton, Consultant Arborist

As owner of High Country Tree Services for 14 years, Howard Singleton built the business from a one man operation to a company with 12 employees and extensive plant and equipment, including over 20 trucks, utilities, stump grinders, chippers and a bobcat.

Following the change of ownership in 2010, Howard remains committed to the business, providing invaluable expertise and support to Al and Bri.
