Wood Chipping & Mulch Supplies
Mulch is a byproduct of tree services. All debris from jobs is wood chipped and recycled to make rich garden mulch that looks and smells great. Clients are given the choice of keeping the mulch from their job for their own garden or having it removed. This mulch is donated to the public or community groups, or can be purchased from Alpine Garden Supplies located behind the High Country Tree Services depot on Dead Horse Lane.
Large timber debris recycled and sold as firewood. When a tree is removed, HCTS can cut up the timber in to foot blocks and/or split the wood ready for your Winter fire.
Where possible, High Country Trees will transplant healthy trees that need to be removed, and have had great success to date.
High Country Tree Services is happy to look out for useable timber for individual clients by arrangement. Currently, exotic timber such as Chestnut, Blackwood or Walnut is sold to a timber merchant for woodturning, furniture or stocks for firearms, or is milled by one of our staff into slabs or posts with the portable Alaskan mill.
